Learn more about how Billgang-powered businesses can combat the rise of false and inaccurate reviews

Updated over a week ago

When you're building a reputation for an already established business or starting a new one, being able to welcome true and accurate reviews will ultimately define the business environment you wish to be involved.

For that specific reason, we've designed this policy to rightly protect the solemn truth from customers and how businesses can dispute false reviews. In select situations, our system will revise feedback where we find out businesses were not at fault.

Dispute Eligibility

In cases where these guidelines have been infringed, the following can be removed:

  • Contains personally identifiable information (such as email, phone number, physical address, etc)

  • Late delivery was a direct result of a Billgang site issue or error

  • We instruct you to hold the delivery or take action to cancel the transaction

  • The invoice has been refunded/replaced and/or sent a new replacement

  • At the sole discretion of our risk operations team

The following reviews aren't eligible for removal under any circumstance:

  • Contains any level of profanity or direct form of disrespect

  • The product was delivered late

  • At the sole discretion of our risk operations team

Dispute False Reviews

Businesses on Billgang can dispute a review directly from the reviews section of their business dashboard.

It may take upwards of 24 hours for our team to review the dispute. Our team takes an entirely neutral and impartial view across all actions. Decisions taken by our team are final and cannot be appealed post-rejection.

Policy Implementation

Billgang introduced this policy to protect the integrity of businesses that sell online. We wholeheartedly believe that entrepreneurs are the bed, back, and bone of our community.

In our effort to sustain our growth, we must place a focus on implementing ways to safeguard businesses from false or otherwise faulty claims brought forth by customers with ill intent.
