Creating a Warehouse & Managing Stock on Billgang

Your comprehensive guide to organizing and utilizing your inventory effectively on Billgang.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Introduction: What is a Warehouse?

Think of your Billgang warehouse as your virtual stockroom. It's where you keep and manage all your digital assets – your "stock" – like accounts, keys, or other digital products. A key advantage? One warehouse can supply multiple products, making inventory management a breeze. Let's dive into setting up your warehouse and filling it with stock.

To get started, let's walk through the process of creating your warehouse and populating it with your stock.

Step 1: Setting Up Your Warehouse

1. Create a warehouse with a name that reflects its contents. This helps you stay organized! [Link]

2. Once created, navigate to your warehouse dashboard by clicking on your newly created warehouse.

3. Select a delimiter to organize your stock entries. This is crucial for clear inventory management:

    • New Line: Each item on a separate line. Best for simple lists.

    • Comma: Items separated by commas. Good if your items don't contain commas.

    • Custom: Define your own delimiter. Use if your items contain commas or new lines.

Step 2: Adding Stock to Your Warehouse

1. In the "Stock" field, enter your items using the chosen delimiter. Here's a "New Line" example:

2. Enable "Remove previously sold serials" to automatically delete duplicate entries if it's required.

3. Click "Add to stock." Your inventory will appear below in the "STOCK ENTRY" section.

Step 3: Managing Your Inventory (Editing & Searching)

1. Use the "Edit stock" button (top right) to add, delete, or modify items.

2. The "Search for a stock entry" field helps you quickly locate specific items, especially useful for large inventories.

Step 4: Setting Up Stock Group Settings

1. Set Up Alerts: Configure low stock and out-of-stock alerts to proactively manage your inventory.

2. Customize Alerts: Adjust the alert thresholds to fit your sales volume.

3. Rename (Optional): Rename your warehouse at the bottom of the page for better organization.

Now that you've created your warehouse and filled it with stock, let's connect it to your products.

Step 5: Connecting Your Warehouse to Products

1. Navigate to the 'Products' section on your Billgang dashboard: Billgang Products

2. Select a product (or create one). In the "Delivery" section, click "Add Deliverables" choose "Serials" click "Next" and select your warehouse.

3. Optional: You can specify the stock limit for your product and provide a custom name for your stock entries.

That's it! You're now equipped to efficiently manage your Billgang inventory and ensure your products are always in stock.
