Creating a Warehouse & Managing Stock on Billgang

Your comprehensive guide to organizing and utilizing your inventory effectively on Billgang.

Introduction: What is a Warehouse?

A warehouse on Billgang serves as a centralized hub where users can store and manage their digital assets, commonly referred to as 'stock'. Think of it as your virtual storage space where you keep your digital goods, such as accounts, keys, or other digital products.

Furthermore, one warehouse can be linked to multiple products, and its stock can be managed directly from the warehouse, streamlining the process and eliminating the need to replenish each product separately. Now, this can be done within the warehouse itself.

To get started, let's walk through the process of creating your warehouse and populating it with your stock.

Step 1: Setting Up Your Warehouse

1. Begin by creating a warehouse and giving it a name that suits your business needs: link to warehouse creation page

2. Once created, navigate to your warehouse dashboard by clicking on your newly created warehouse.

3. From there, select the appropriate delimiter.

    • Note: The delimiter helps in organizing your stock entries. For example, you can choose the 'New Line' delimiter, which requires each item in your stock to be entered on a new line for clear distinction. Alternatively, you can select the 'Comma' delimiter, which separates each item with a comma, or choose 'Custom' to define your own delimiter according to your specific needs.

Step 2: Adding Stock to Your Warehouse

1. In the 'Stock' field, enter your items in the following format:

2. Ensure that each entry is on a new line to maintain clarity and separation. You can also enable the 'Remove previously sold serials' option to automatically remove duplicates from your stock, preventing accidental sales of the same item to multiple customers.

3. Once entered, click on the 'Add to stock' button to populate your warehouse with your stock entries. Your added stock will be displayed below in the STOCK ENTRY section.

Step 3: Editing and Managing Your Stock

1. If you need to edit or manage your added stock, use the 'Edit stock' button located in the top right corner. From here, you can add, delete, or modify accounts or keys as needed.

2. The 'Search for a stock entry' field allows you to quickly locate specific items within your inventory, particularly useful when dealing with large volumes of accounts or keys.

Step 4: Setting Up Stock Group Settings

1. Below the stock entry section, you can configure alerts to notify you when your stock levels are running low or have reached zero. This proactive approach helps ensure you have enough time to replenish your inventory before it runs out completely.

2. Customize the 'Low Stock Alert' and 'Out of Stock Alert' fields to suit your needs.

3. Additionally, you can rename your warehouse at the bottom of the page to better reflect its purpose or contents.

Now that you've created your warehouse and populated it with your stock, let's proceed to link your warehouse to your products.

Step 5: Connecting Your Warehouse to Products

1. Navigate to the 'Products' section on your Billgang dashboard: Billgang Products

2. Select the desired product or create a new one. Under the 'Delivery' section, click on 'Add Deliverables' and choose 'Serials'. Click 'Next' and select the warehouse you want to associate with your product from the dropdown list.

3. Optional: You can specify the stock limit for your product and provide a custom name for your stock entries.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your inventory on Billgang, ensuring your products are always available for your customers!
